There are a few people who do not agree with what I do and I have been viciously, and I mean VICIOUSLY attacked by them, in various ways.  This is the only place I have to defend myself, so here it goes.
When buying a dog, I suggest you do your research.  Research the breed, research the breeder.  However, the best place to find out about your breeder are legitimate resources, not websites where people spew lies in order to further their own agenda.  Contact the BBB, local health department, and in NJ, the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs.  There are the people who I answer to, not websites where "rescue group members" and bored housewives spend hours a day on the computer trying to make dog breeders look bad.

I breed dogs, and I will NOT apologize for that.  Many people, rescue groups, activists, and namely, the Atlantic County SPCA have come out to attack me, besmirch my name and do whatever they can to make me look bad.  I understand where they are coming from.  As Nancy Beall (President of the Atlantic County SPCA) stated, when she came to the hearing for my business license in Mullica Township "There are so many dogs in shelters that need homes, it is not right to produce more"  True, there are many dogs in shelters, and I have in my life, adopted many stray dogs, and I have one now as a matter of fact.  But, the fact remains, that certain people want certain dogs, plain and simple.  An older couple may live in a planned community where there is a size restriction on dogs, people travel via plane a lot and need a dog under 10 lbs. to travel on a plane, people have allergies and need non-shedding hypo-allergenic dogs.  People generally prefer puppies, they want a dog they can train from a baby, a puppy to bond with.  If you adopt a puppy of unknown parentage, you have no idea how big it will get, and what it's temperament may be.  If you adopt an older dog, you may get someone else's problems.  Many people give up their pets because they have issues, mostly caused by poor training.  I am NOT saying you should not adopt a shelter dog, not at all!  By all means, if it is something you are able to do, then do it.

In my opinion, a big reason so many dogs end up in shelters is due to the fact that people are not properly educated as far as which dogs are right for them. I had a family come to get a dog from me, and she was concerned that I would not sell her a puppy because they had given their lost dog away. They were a very nice family living regular house in a regular neighborhood.  They went to a pet store and bought the most adorable Border Collie puppy.  The salesperson at the store should NEVER have sold these people a Border Collie.  Those dogs require a HUGE yard and so much exercise, it was a bad match, plain and simple.

EVERY Customer who purchases a pup from me receives a copy of the NJ Notification of Consumer Rights, which clearly states what they are to do if they have any issues with their pup. Just to let you know, there have been 2 complaints against me in the last FIVE YEARS.  Both were dismissed and never went any further.  I will be happy to provide copies of investigation reports upon request.  If you wish to find out about me, you may send for an OPRA (Open Public Records Report) from the following agencies:
